A big part of writing is photography. Over the COVID pandemic, there were limited options for me to work on this skill. Once I came back to school, I had to quickly learn how to take photos. I have developed this skill and gotten better and better over these last few years

In the beginning, my photos would be boring and expressionless. I was unsure how to take meaningful pictures that were in focus. Now I know how to focus on faces and expressions and encapsulate important moments. I hope my photography will continue to improve with each picture

During my Junior year, from 2021-2022, I covered sports stories. This meant I had to quickly learn how to take good high-quality photos of athletes in motion. Although it was sometimes hard to capture the right moments, the satisfaction of getting the right shot always made it worth it. Below are some of my favorite pictures!
